Horizon Europe – NetHelix Project

NetHelix is a Horizon Europe project focused on transforming the European mining sector through sustainable, intelligent technologies. The initiative targets the extraction of critical raw materials such as gold, bauxite, silver, lead, zinc, calcium carbonate, dolomite, and perlite. It aims to reduce environmental impact while increasing operational efficiency through innovations like predictive maintenance platforms,
decision support systems (DSS), and advanced, green extraction
methods. Solutions are being validated across pilot sites in Greece, Austria, France, the UK, and Bulgaria.
Emphasis DigiWorld contributes expertise in IIoT, cloud-based monitoring, and operational intelligence to enable real-time sensor integration, support human-centric digital tools, and promote agile, responsive mining operations.

Horizon Europe – R3GROUP Project

R3GROUP is a Horizon Europe project dedicated to enhancing the
resilience and rapid reconfigurability of European manufacturing systems. The project addresses key industrial sectors including automotive, textiles, metal, and home appliances, aiming to develop tools for multi-level digital twins, dynamic production planning, and adaptable machine configurations.
Emphasis DigiWorld provides technological input in IIoT, cloud-based monitoring, and operational intelligence, facilitating real-time sensor data integration and enabling the deployment of human-centred digital toolkits to support agile, interconnected production environments.

PredictUp Project

PredictUp is focused on the development of an advanced digital service for the prediction of failures in industrial assets, including production lines and mechanical equipment. The solution integrates Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies, AI, and cloud computing to offer a predictive maintenance platform that minimizes unplanned downtime and optimizes asset performance.
PredictUp innovates by combining vibration analysis using specialized
IIoT modules with data streams from existing industrial sensors. The
solution is designed for low-power autonomous operation, high reliability under industrial conditions, and compatibility with various production environments.

Sense&Mine4.0 Ventilation on Demand (VoD) in Mining Industry

Sense&Mine4.0 develops technology for the smart integration of
contextual information in mining industry. The context of mining
activities will be built by extracting data from a network of sensors,
developed for that purpose. Sense&Mine4.0 integrates sensors data with situational information retrieved from legacy systems as well as
information regarding scheduled mining activities.
Sense&Mine4.0 creates a highly adaptable ventilation system capable of substantial energy savings while maintaining air quality standards.

i-EAT Intelligent Control for Food Safety

The project is an innovative tool that focuses on dairy products. The
system will systematically be addressing the high volatility in the Supply Chain conditions. Our scope is to extend the recommended consumption duration of fresh products by improving the cold supply chain’s conditions and furthermore, reducing the rate of returns at the reverse supply chain. This can maximize added value in economic, environmental and social terms, while at the same time enhance the competitiveness of  the dairy industry at European and international level.
